Hair Extensions Rental – Policies & Procedures

1. Eligibility & Rental Requirements

    •    Age requirement: Must be 18+ with valid government-issued ID.

    •    Payment method: Major credit/debit card required (card kept on file for damages/loss).

    •    Deposit: Refundable security deposit of Wig amount is required per rental.

2. Rental Periods

    •    Standard rental: 7, or 14-day options.

    •    Extensions: Must request an extension at least 24 hours before return date. Late fees apply.

    •    Late returns: 10% per day late fee, up to full replacement value after 2 days overdue.

3. Hair Care & Hygiene Standards

    •    Extensions are professionally sanitized, washed, and styled before each rental.

    •    Customers may not dye, bleach, perm, cut, or chemically alter rented extensions.

    •    Heat styling (flat iron/curling wand) permitted at safe temperatures (under 400°F).

    •    Products used must be sulfate-free and alcohol-free to maintain longevity.

4. Usage Restrictions

    •    Hair rentals are for personal use only—no subleasing, reselling, or professional salon loaning.

    •    Rentals are not to be worn for swimming, extreme sports, or sleeping without a silk bonnet/pillowcase.

5. Damage, Loss & Replacement

    •    Normal wear & tear: Expected and covered.

    •    Excessive damage (matting, chemical alteration, missing pieces): Customer charged repair fee or full replacement cost.

    •    Loss or theft: Customer charged full replacement value.

6. Return Process

    •    Extensions must be returned in original form with any additional accessories. (wig bag, satin pouch, clips, etc.).

    •    All accessories (clips, combs, storage bags) must be included or replacement fee applies.

    •    Returned hair will undergo quality & hygiene inspection before deposit is released.

7. Deposits & Fees

    •    Security deposit refunded within 3–5 business days after successful inspection.

    •    Late fees, damage charges, or replacement costs are deducted from deposit.

8. Sanitation & Safety Procedures (Internal Use)

    •    All returned extensions immediately tagged and logged.

    •    Items sanitized using professional-grade shampoo, conditioner, and antibacterial treatment.

    •    Heat sanitized (if applicable) and air-dried in controlled environment.

    •    Inventory rotated to maintain hair health and lifespan.

9. Customer Agreement

    •    Customers must sign acknowledgment of these policies before rental.

    •    Business reserves the right to deny service for repeat damages, late returns, or hygiene concerns.
